And They Lie About Us

I would like to say something about a post yesterday on the Waterloo blog. They claim Ceni is doing these things:

1.Insults about our government
2.Blaming us for terrorist attacks
3.Supporting terrorism
4.Hating on Waterloo
5.Being late to battles
6.Not coming to our aid when we are in need
7.Because Kyn Tucin the savage, barbarian, cruel hearted, murderer is still King

I would like to rebut here:

1. Where did they get that from? No posts were ever posted insulting their government. And, by posting this, they insult us by suggesting that we would do horrible things.
2. Who would you blame first for a bunch of Holy Wolfes sneaking around Cenaci? No mercenaries were hired by Jacobia.
3. No money was spent supporting terrorism, no bills were thought of, and the government would never do such a thing. Ceni would never do such a thing. We are a peaceful nation, and our military forces are for defense only.
4. They hated us first. Isn't the natural response to someone hating you and insulting you hating them back?
5. That is erroneous. I do not recall and mandate, directive, or treaty being issued that Ceni shall come to Waterloo's aid immediately, nor do I recall anything mandating Ceni fight Waterloo's battles, nor do I remember any battles where Waterloo asked for our help. And, if we came to battles late, why would it be our fault for not knowing about the battles?
6. I do not recall being asked for aid, nor do I recall Waterloo being in need. And remember, we gave them help with defeating the terrorists.
7. Your information is outdated. Kyn Tucin is not King. He is Chancellor, elected by the will of the people. They would not elect a savage, barbarian, cruel hearted Chancellor, nor a murderer. And he is not a savage, nor a barbarian. See this post for more.

If you go around making wily-nily accusations, please include some evidence to back it up. Please include 3 pieces of evidence before slandering your opponents.

Why Go To War With Waterloo?

I wonder why they would go to war with us, we have not done anything to them. If we would declare war on them, we would have several reasons:

1. The massacre of women and children on Loja
2. The explosion of two of Cenaci's power plants
3. The spreading of lies by a Waterloo newspaper

I would not wish to go to war with Waterloo at the moment: it would be too draining for us.

Cenian Population Rises

The Cenian population has risen to 145.818 trillion, due to increased immigration. It was fueled by gains in the Cenaci, Lower Throneworlds, and Upper Throneworlds sectors, along with gains in other major sectors such as the Michosplak, the Katinal, and the Narinomats sectors.

Senate Vaults Katinal Senator Shadow B'betsy into Waterloo Office

The Cenian Senate has issued a mandate that states that Shadow B'betsy is eligible to join the Imperial Council of Waterloo to represent Katinal and other non-Cenian members of Ceni. In a vote 120-17, they approved the mandate.

Cenian Assembly Approves Kyn Tucin's Ascension to Waterloo Post

The bill to ascend Kyn Tucin into office as a Councilor of Waterloo has succeded, 125-17. Shadow B'betsy says she would like Tucin to be able to make his opinion known on a major foreign power. The vote in the Senate was the last roadblock for Kyn Tucin.

A popularity poll conducted on 15 major planets shows that Kyn Tucin is very popular. 80% say he is doing a good job running the country, while 15% say he is not and 5% say that they do not care or they did not wish to take part in the survey.

Rise in Population in Several Key Sectors

885 billion and Michosplak's rose to 900 billion after immigrants went to Ceni to seek a better life away from genocide, small freedoms, and required work in Waterloo. Zinke Gang Roams the Streets on Katrala I

Katrala I is a pleasant world, filled with beautiful gardens and cities. But there has been a rash of burglaries, pickpockets, and landspeeder stealings that have gone unsolved until now. The Zinke gang, a notorious gang responsible for the looting of millions of bewlegis in goods from the Siughi Esplanade on Nanania, has recently been seen at its base on Katrala I. A Star Defender, Ille-class, and some Fentlaraar-class backups will journey to Katrala and wipe out the gang's base, eliminating them once and for all.

The attack on a WTC post near Sotresso was not sanctioned by the Cenian government, however it was an angry group of outraged citizens.

Waterloo Fires on Women and Children of Loja Along with the Warriors

Here is an excerpt from THNEOW Protector: ''All the Loja and Loja supporters were put to the gun.''
So all of the woman and children were massacred, too. Ceni's military would never do that as it would be killing unarmed civilians who believed in a cause. Waterloo's actions would constitute to a sort of genocide, killing people for their beliefs, even if they believe in a terrorist group. Cenian ships arriving at Jalada will stand by to try and get Waterloo to apologize to the families of the victims. However, they will not attack as spelled out in the Demilitarization Act.

Michosplak City Leopards Beat Cenial Senates

The Michosplak City Leopards have beat the Cenial Senates 1-0 in a match on Tycuflux. The Senates were expected to win.

Ceni Sends 3 Starfighter Squadrons to Jalada

Today, the 4th fleet guarding Pandolo ordered 2 squadrons of A1s and 1 squadron of A2s to Jalada to guard it and invade the terrorists if possible. If the terrorists strike soon another wing and the Hibiscus, an Ille-class Star Defender and the Fentlaraar-class ships the Jasmine and the Bellflower will be on their way to crush the terrorists.

The Holy Naval Empire of Waterloo: Bad Times, Better Times, and a New Protectorate

First, the relations between Waterloo and Ceni were strained and Waterloo created the Anti-Ceni Pact (ACP).  It set out to do this:
No help Ceni
Break all treaties with Ceni
Embargo Ceni
War against Ceni
War with Ceni allies
Help all members of ACP
Banish Ceni from territory
Be peaceful to members of ACP

But then Waterloo backed out. People who did not sign their names to the original treaties but were on the list anyway quit, and all the other members quit as well.

When Waterloo won the planet of Jalada form the terrorists with help from Cenian starfighter squadrons, it offered Ceni Jalada as a protectorate and Ceni accepted.

Constitutional Amendment Passes Senate

A constitutional amendment that will reword Article 46 was passed today in the Cenian Senate with a 2/3 majority required by the Constitution 105-35, with 5 abstentions. The amendment will reword Article 46 like this: A Petition of No Confidence may be submitted to the Senate if 1/2 of the population signs it. The amendment will go to the sectors for ratification.

Internet; Computers Go Out Briefly on Cenaci

Millions of Bewlegi in stock trades, currency exchange, bonds, and bank deposits were wiped out when internet, provided by InterCen (a subsidiary of UtiliCo), went out. The CEO of InterCen, Bob Dylan, said the heart of the problem was a lack of maintenance and safety at their main plant. Senator Corran Caractacus of the Cenaci sector started an inquiry into the practices of InterCen and other UtiliCo subsidiaries. UtiliCo's stock went sharply down 32%, $12, to $25.50 and United Bank's fell 2.6%, $2, to $74.25.

The Clorox Rebellion

The Cenaci High School students rose up in rebellion over sniffing Clorox wipes. The teachers had recently banned the popular annoy-your-teacher act, and the students stole Clorox wipes, stuffed them in their shirts, and also tried to steal drinks from the school cafeteria. The rebellion was quickly put down by teachers, fighting students armed with pencils and pens with rulers, and loyal students.

Todarolians

Todarolians are rabbit-like humanoids from the plains world of Ille. Their cream-colored face and cream-colored body merge seamlessly without a neck. The extrasensory abilities of their purple whiskers offset the fact that their head cannot turn. Their eyes and nose are purple, too. They have long ears with pink insides. Their overall appearance is quite attractive.

Also known as Todarolia, Ille houses the ziggurats and terraces of the Todarolians. It is also a farming community with lots of faltrys and sinkrars. While most Todarolians have emigrated offworld, they still worship the plains god of Todaro. Todarolian means “follower of Todaro” and Todarolia means “planet of Todaro”. Followers of Todaro believe that Todaro created the world and that if you do good deeds in your life, you may be reincarnated as a plant on Ille. Selected through a process where Todaro can choose his favorites, the priests and high priests of Todaro govern the Todarolians, although Ille is governed by a senate which often includes priests on the floor.

Most of the Todarolian population resides offworld, and they are renowned as great farmers, along with the Uvaena. One of their number, Yoda Tunt, signed the constitution and earned a spot on a Cenian banknote. Todarolians have not colonized many worlds, but the ones they have are farming ones. This race is a species of farmers and followers of Todaro, and they will be providing food and religion for years to come.

According to a Ceniformational survey conducted on 70,000 people, Chancellor Kyn Tucin is in the lead at 75% of the vote against Senator Fransico dos Santos. They are both running for Chancellor as provided by law.

Michosplaks

Michosplaks are a trunked species native to a world of the same name. Their small mouths are located just beneath their trunk, and their gold eyes serve as an accent to their brown trunks and yellow skin. They have dexterous 3-fingered hands with opposable thumbs and hair that ranges from brown to black on their heads.

Michosplaks are a talkative species, and they can be found at cantinas and debate arenas, where they can chatter away or exercise their acute mental ability. And because of their trunks, Michosplaks have produced a language that is hard for others to pronounce. The Michosplak have formed several political parties, and their government is selected by a series of eloquent debates. Whoever produces the best debate is selected to become the “Master Debater”, the head of the Michosplak legislative body, the Arena of Debate.

Although Michosplaks of many other professions travel the stars, often found are politicians, speechwriters, and debaters. Michosplaks are known as great writers. Some examples of Michosplak work are The Sauretik Theft by Donovan Forsmark and A Typical Day in the Senate by Max Walters. And, as one of Ceni’s founding species, they are spread out far and wide in the galaxy, colonizing planets.

Until some great phenomenon wipes this species out, they will be held in highest regard for their work and their talk.

Arunnian Leader Arrested on Charges of Indiscriminate Violence and Several Others

Arunnian leader Varun Cleavanger was arrested on Katinal today for 86 counts of indiscriminate violence, 5 counts of assault, 3 counts of attempted murder, 2 counts of possession of a stolen weapon, and 11 counts of attempted indiscriminate violence. The penalty for that could reach from 20 years in prison and $26,000 in fines up to life sentence without parole and $1,500. Deputy Leader Matthew Hammersly denounced the effectiveness of the Cenian court system, and Cleavanger denied all charges.

Treaty Shuts Down Violence Between Waterloo and Ceni

Today, in the Treaty of Calia, Waterloo agreed to stop all aggression, violence, and insults to Ceni. Leader of Calia, Captain Carl Weir, wrote the treaty and made Waterloo suggest it in return for unknown reward. Pending the approval of the Senate, it will go into effect August 1st. 

Shadow B'betsy Denounces Conservatives

Question: Senator B'betsy, what do you have to say about the invasion of liberals in your sector?
Answer: [I denounce this effort by conservatives and their corporations trying to get their greedy claws in my sector.]
Q: What is with the voter farud in your sector and how can you fix it?
A: [The Cenian Conservative Party's fanatical supporters are distributing senseless packets saying that 'if you are not a Cenian, you cannot vote', and then saying 'if you disobey these rules, you will be sentenced for 10 {Katinal} years in jail and your children will be taken from you.' Now I urge all Kattes to ignore this propaganda and I will hunt down the offenders and prosecute them so they get a taste of their own medicine. Why would you believe that anyway? Why would the government take away your children? That seems, and is, just stupid.]

A:[ My opponent in the latest election denounced programs that I had voted to support and said if he was elected, then he would vote to eliminate Social Security and put that saved money into the padded palms and claws of corporations that would create jobs.]

Kyn Tucin Introduces Labor Policy

Chancellor Kyn Tucin today introduced his labor policy in a speech today. In his speech, he said he would create jobs by cutting payroll tax and creating defense contracts for new ships. CTR and the International Starship Corporation said they are creating new factories to produce for the increased flow of people. Unemployment is currently around 9 trillion, or 6.8%. Economists say 5%-6% is key to a healthy economy.

Assassination Attempt Against Kyn Tucin Fails

Today, a rogue airspeeder allegedly rented by a Waterloo official nearly rammed into Chancellor Kyn Tucin. The 'accident' that happened near the Senate Plaza was blamed on Waterloo citizens. Now the new Belligerent Party of Ceni (BPC) is calling for war, although it has a minority of people.
